This Data Deletion page explains how users, tenants, and connected-account holders can request deletion of their data from YaanX, what we may need to retain for legal and compliance reasons, and how long the process takes.

1. Overview

YaanX, operated by Yaanx Mobility Private Limited ("YaanX"), provides SaaS technology for taxi operators, fleet owners, and transport businesses to run their own branded booking website, admin panel, driver app, and tenant portal. You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time, subject to the legal retention requirements described below.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data, email us at info@yaanx.in with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

Please include the following so we can locate and verify your records:

  • Your full name
  • Your business name (if applicable)
  • The registered email address associated with your account
  • The registered phone number associated with your account
  • Account details or any reference that helps us identify your records (for example, your tenant/business name or workspace)
  • A brief description of the data you want deleted (your full account, a specific record, or a connected third-party account)

Send your request from the registered email address where possible — this helps us verify ownership faster.

3. Verification of Your Request

To protect your data, YaanX verifies every deletion request before acting on it. We may ask you to confirm your identity or provide additional information to match the request to an existing account. This prevents unauthorized or fraudulent deletion requests.

4. Facebook, Instagram and Threads Data Deletion

If you have connected a Meta account — Facebook, Instagram, or Threads — or a Google account to the YaanX portal to publish content or manage marketing, you can delete that connection and its associated data in the following ways:

  • Disconnect the account yourself in the portal at: Tenant Portal → Marketing → Channels / Integrations → Disconnect. After you disconnect, YaanX stops using the token and deletes or invalidates the stored access tokens and connection data for that account.
  • Revoke YaanX’s access directly from your Meta, Facebook, Instagram, or Threads account settings, which also removes YaanX’s access to that connected account.
  • Email a deletion request to info@yaanx.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request", stating your tenant name, your registered email address, and the connected-account details concerned. We will verify the request and delete the associated connection data.

Requests are processed within the timeline described below. YaanX accesses connected accounts only through the official provider APIs and only for actions you initiate, and does not sell or transfer connected-account data to any third party. Some records may be retained only where required for legal, tax, billing, audit, fraud-prevention, dispute, or security reasons.

5. Data We May Need to Retain

After a deletion request, certain data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Legal, tax, and accounting records
  • Billing, invoice, and payment records
  • Fraud prevention and security records
  • Records needed to resolve disputes or enforce agreements
  • Information we are required to keep under applicable law, regulation, or audit obligations

Where data must be retained, we keep only what is necessary, restrict access to it, and delete or anonymize it once the retention obligation ends.

6. Processing Timeline

Once we receive and verify your request, we aim to process eligible data deletions within 7 to 30 working days. Complex requests, or requests involving multiple connected services, may take additional time, and we will keep you informed where required.

7. Data Collected by Tenants

If you are a customer or driver of a business that uses YaanX, that business (the tenant) is the controller of your data. For deletion of data held by a specific operator, please contact that operator directly. YaanX processes such data as a technology provider and will support the tenant’s lawful deletion requests.
